SPRING  2025 ENRICHMENT 

The Foundation is excited to share with you the 2025 SPRING Enrichment offerings!

This spring, we are offering 7-week sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays filled with a wide variety of classes run by EFS faculty and outside vendors. 

Registration will open on MobileArq on Monday, March 24th at 9:00 AM and will close on Friday, March 28th. Spaces are limited. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis, and some classes sell out quickly.

Important reminders:

  • Classes will begin immediately after school, from 3:05 - 4:25 p.m.

  • All classes are held on the school premises.

  • Children must only be signed up for classes offered for their specific grade.

  • Send your child in with an after-school snack.

  • If your child attends after-care, they will be taken after their enrichment class to Tiny Treasures, where they can commence after-care from 4:25 p.m. 

  • If children are picked up late (after 4:35 p.m.), a late charge of $10 per child is applied.

  • If the program's minimum number of participants are not met the program will not run.

Wednesdays: 4/16, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21, 5/28, 6/4 (makeup 6/11) 

Thursdays: 4/17, 5/1, 5/8, 5/15, 5/22, 5/29, 6/5 (makeup 6/12) 

 

Makeup Policy:
We are building in one week at the end of each session for any makeup due to teacher illness or weather issues.

 

Class Descriptions:

TUESDAY

 

Chemistry Wizards - Mad Science (K-2): Young scientists transform into chemistry wizards through a whirlwind of exciting experiments! Discover the wonders of "Super Sticky Stuff," witness "Chem in a Flash," and dive into the gooey fun of "Slime Time." Get ready for a chemistry adventure that’s bursting with surprises and ignites a passion for science!

 

American Girls Get Crafty – Rivera (K-3): Calling all kids and their dolls to get crafty with Mrs. Rivera. Each week we will take an adventure with an American Girl where we will learn a little, craft a little, and sometimes dance a little.

 

Self-Care Crafts - Eclectic Chic Boutique (3-4): This after-school program is perfect for budding scientists and bath-time enthusiasts. We'll mix up a world of bubbly bath creations, from colorful body wash to soothing bath oil and fizzy bath bombs! Get ready to unleash your creativity and pamper yourself with homemade goodness!

 

Chess Challenge – Wallace (3-6): Students will be introduced to the game of chess. They will learn how to set up the board, the names and moves of each piece and intro to basic strategy. Once the basics are understood, students will begin playing one another in timed matches each week. The class will also teach proper etiquette and sportsmanship. 

  

Graphic Design for Beginners - Smith (4 - 6): Learn the basics of graphic design such as typography, color theory, and balance. Let’s get creative and see what we can create!

 

 

WEDNESDAY

 

Silly Games – Mr. A (K-2): Extracurricular sports, mini-games, and activities that provide opportunities for students to work together, communicate, and have fun!

Dance Mania – Rivera (1-4): Learn a choreographed dance over 7 weeks and present a mini recital to friends and family.

 

Cartooning Creations – One River (3-4): Learn the fundamentals of cartooning and illustration through creating characters and their own unique stories.

 

Woodworking – Wallace (4-6):  Join Mr. Wallace for a hands-on woodworking enrichment! Students will learn to safely use hand tools while building projects out of wood. Along the way, they'll develop craftsmanship, problem-solving skills, and creativity—taking home projects they’re proud of. Spots are limited—sign up and start building!

 

 

THURSDAY

Jewelry Making - Eclectic Chic Boutique (K-1): Students will explore a variety of themes, techniques and materials to create our own wearable art. Some projects include colorful friendship bracelets, funky pendants, and creative beaded necklaces.
 

Robo Builders - RoboThink (K-2): Calling all aspiring engineers! Build amazing robots of all shapes, sizes, and functions using gears, motors, sensors, and more! Students of any skill can jump right in and start building.

 

Craft Corner – Rivera (2-4): Come get crafty with Mrs. Rivera. Each week students will create seasonal inspired crafts that they will be sure to treasure. 

 

Crazy Chem Works – Mad Science (3-6): Experience the frosty magic of "Dry Ice Capades," roll up your sleeves for hands-on "Lab Works," and unravel the mysteries of "pH Phactor." Get ready for a chemistry adventure that’s bursting with surprises and ignites a passion for science!

 

Crochet for Beginners – Jaworski (4-6): Students will learn the basics of crocheting. The class will cover information such as how to hold a crochet hook, then move to beginner stitches, and into more advanced stitches and techniques. Students will use these skills to make their own accessories and stuffed animals.

 

DISCLAIMER: The Foundation reserves the right to make changes to the schedule, if needed. By registering, you acknowledge that the named applicant is emotionally ready, is in good health, and has your permission to participate in this program. You agree that there are no refunds after the first week of classes. You also agree to pay the late pick-up fee of $10 for each child picked-up after 4:35 on

any enrichment day.


TO ORDER: Log onto the NEW MobileArq - Next app. Go to Online Stores and select FOUNDATION for the school type. Select the Session and Day for which you would like to register (repeat, if you would like
to register for multiple days.) Please note you will need to order for each child separately (like you do for school lunches). For example, go in and select a specific class option for child A. Do not change the quantity. Select the child’s name and then add it to the cart. Then, continue shopping and place the order for child B, or for the next class for child A. Please make sure you specify which child you are ordering for with each class order.


CHECKOUT: MobileArq Checkout is done through PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can click “Pay with Debit or Credit Card” on the login screen and check out using a credit card. Once you have ordered, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. Please review it and make sure it contains everything you intended to order for the enrichment classes.
